Every year we show gratitude towards our cities peace officers by delivering a small "Gear Bag" to each one on duty on the Fourth of July.
This may bring up some questions...

Why celebrate the police department on the Fourth of July, instead of on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day?
Well, that's a good question without a satisfying answer. But, as we give thanks for the freedoms we still enjoy on the anniversary of our nations independence, it seems somehow fitting to also give thanks to those who protect and serve our local municipalities.

Is this a political statement?
Nope. In a world where every word can lead to a politicized argument, that it not our intent. Our intent is to bring our community together, recognizing the need for unity, peace, and understanding.
