Many people at Genesis Church have walked through deconstruction or have left evangelical churches. Some might say they're progressive or exvangelical.

We understand the tension of holding onto Jesus while letting go of harmful theology or church experiences.

You won’t be pressured to “snap back” to where you were. You’re allowed to grow here.

Are you political?

Genesis Church does not endorse candidates or political parties.

We do talk about justice, compassion, and the real world we live in. But we are not a partisan church.
People across the political spectrum attend Genesis. You do not have to pass a political test to belong here.

Can I attend if I don’t believe everything in the Bible literally?

Yes.

You do not need to agree on every interpretation of scripture to participate in our community.

We take the Bible seriously, but we also recognize that faithful Christians throughout history have understood it in different ways.

Many people who attend Genesis Church carry church hurt.

We cannot promise perfection. But we can promise that we take people’s dignity seriously.

Those who fail to recognize the value of people will fail to represent Jesus Christ.

We are committed to doing better.

It feels more like an intentional coffeehouse than a traditional church space, but it's just as sacred.

You’ll hear teaching rooted in scripture, music that creates space for reflection, and a community that values honesty over performance.

You won’t be put on the spot. You are welcome to join the conversation, but not expected to.

You won’t be pressured to give.
